  • Prevent burnout and learn how to create a positive workspace for you07.05.2024

For me, it’s a fine lline: Stress at work is mostly normal and as I believe sometimes it even can have a positive impact on your personal workflows and positive growth.
But unfortunately often this comes with feeling exhausted. When exhaustion leads to a downward spiral of negativity, unproductivity and even worse to negative effects on the mental and physical health it often results in a burnout.

As we should learn to take this seriously I find this article very helpful to get some inspiration how to shift stressful workloads into positives:

  • The well-being of employees15.06.2023

There is certainly a fair amount of equivalents for wellness committee in business speech but I very much support the key message of this article which is not a new but even more important friendly reminder to take care of employees well-being and to encourage a best-practice culture to see better results in a higher and long-term employee engagement.

This is a good read about it by forbes magazine.

  • Work-life-balance – a topic in a job interview?30.03.2023

Work-life balance – what does that mean to you and would you ask the hiring company about their philosophy on this in an interview?
I don’t mind working overtime to meet deadlines or project peaks, but it’s still a valid question interviewers and interviewees should be prepared for.

Here is an interesting #businessinsider read from a Gen Z perspective:
