…. a group art project with family & friiends!
“One Night of Atlantis” is my first Light Art Installation for the Fremoint Arts Council presented at LUMINATA 2026 at Greenlake in Seattle!
Storyline
Atlantis, the saga of the lost city under seas, will reveal a glimpse of itself just a short time and only for the special audience of Luminata.
An illuminated path will guide their way to the secret location at Greenlake. Sea creatures will guide their paths.
The Vision

The project
The inspirations for the theme of this project are high likely the result of watching nearly all movies of Aquaman on an seemigly endless intercontinental flight.
Once the theme was set to my brain I got the idea of making it a project that includes plenty of recyled materials like cardboard and plastic bottles but also – and this would be my main focus – making it a group project. Inspired by leading workshops and working with all kind of different groups in art I am constantly blown away by the creativity and talents that cross my path.
That said, the project came together kind of organicallly. Family and friends helped creating, painting, saving me frpm a nervous breakdown when things seemed to fall apart.
The various amazing handcrafted pieces, their enthusiam and creativity are the real light for me shing on this installation!
